2002 Zagat Survey
Much, much more than just a "place to take your visiting parents", this "inviting" Federal period piece in Georgetown provides "formality" "without intimidation"; "genius" chef Ris Lacoste deftly "blends" old and new seasonal American recipes into "top-notch" renditions (her "superb" rack of lamb makes sure that "food is the star of the show" here), while the "outstanding" staff "goes out of its way for guests"; it's a "splurge", but the prix fixe menus are a "steal."
