...Georgetown's historic 1789 Restaurant (1226 – 36th St.NW, 202/965-1789) is offering a new $40 prix fixe menu. Menu items change daily, but appetizers include broccoli soup with beer battered snails, entrée choices such as skate wing with stewed green lentils, a pork chop with a warm turnip and apple salad, and short ribs with white sweet potatoes puree and Brussels sprouts.
