Gusti Dishes on 1789's Summer Prix Fixe
The summer-long dinner deal at 1789 - $37 for three courses - is a great way to sample the cooking of its new top toque, Daniel Gusti. His New American menu pairs locally raised meat and poultry with seasonal produce in dishes like chicken with summer squash and monkfish with garbanzo beans. "The food I like to do is simple, as I learned in Italy," says Gusti, "with a bit of the Las Vegas 'flair.'" The deal runs through September 11th, and diners must present a certificate that can be accessed by registering at www.1789restaurant.com.
