Fitzgerald's

1789 Restaurant’s contemporary bar room provides a welcoming lounge atmosphere with a large mahogany bar and tufted leather seating. The space is divided into the Upper Fitzgerald’s Room, decorated with football portraits by Washington, D.C. artist Garnet Jex, and the Lower Fitzgerald’s Room, complete with abstract paintings by Nantucket artist David Lazarus. The Lower Fitzgerald’s Room can be rented alone, or Fitzgerald’s can be reserved for a partial or full buyout.

This new cocktail centric bar and restaurant opened late June 2021 in the former fabled F. Scott’s space. The menu is curated by Chef Adam Howard and his kitchen team plus Wine & Beverage Manager Brian Zipin, serves elevated bistro dishes. Enjoy both classic and inventive cocktails and 10 rotating Japanese whiskies at the 12-seat bar. Additionally, the wine list features some of the globe’s finest vineyards and cult favorites.
